We are seeking a skilled and experienced Rad Tech to join our Cardiac Cath Lab team. As a Rad Tech, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cardiac catheterization laboratory setting. You will work closely with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive the highest level of care.
Duties And Responsibilities

• Set up and operate imaging equipment to capture images of the heart and blood vessels
• Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning, prepping, and administering sedation or anesthesia
• Assist cardiologists during procedures, including passing catheters and guidewires
• Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes in their condition
• Maintain accurate records of procedures and patient data
• Ensure equipment is properly maintained and functioning according to safety guidelines and protocols
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education to stay current with advancements in the field

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in radiologic technology or a related field
• Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Current state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiac cath lab or interventional radiology setting
• Basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certifications
• Strong attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
