Are you ready for a fulfilling leadership role that positively impacts lives? Search Inc. has an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Residential Coordinator for our Residential Program!

About the Role: As a Residential Coordinator, you'll oversee a small group of community homes serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Your responsibilities include managing staffing, ensuring accurate documentation, overseeing quality assurance, and maintaining a clean environment. Working closely with various departments, you'll contribute to the continuity of care.

We are currently looking to hire a full-time Residential Coordinator in our Residential Program. This full-time position is Monday to Friday, 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with a rotating on-call schedule.

Responsibilities:

  • Support our Mission Statement and Values, emphasizing person-centered care and community inclusion.
  • Demonstrate leadership through teamwork, creative problem-solving, and mentoring support staff.
  • Present yourself professionally as a representative of Search to stakeholders.
  • Serve as a role model, training and mentoring support staff, and developing their skills.
  • Create and maintain staffing schedules, manage call-offs, and provide on-call support.
  • Collaborate with the Residential Manager for accurate incident documentation and reporting.
  • Manage house funds, budget for supplies, and assist in state-required documentation.
  • Monitor vehicle safety, complete maintenance reports, and maintain cleanliness in homes.

Individual Interaction:

  • Demonstrate kindness, courtesy, flexibility, responsiveness, and consistency in meeting individuals' needs.
  • Ensure medical needs are met compassionately and effectively.
  • Support program staff in assisting individuals with hygiene and self-care tasks.
  • Ensure active engagement in chosen activities throughout the day and evening.
  • Maintain adequate staffing for safe community activities.
  • Provide supportive counseling, conflict resolution, and problem-solving assistance.
  • Assist with medical appointments and emergencies in the absence of the Program Manager.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent,
  • At least 3 years of caregiving experience (Supervisory Experience Preferred!),
  • Valid Driver's License,
  • Ability to be a certified PACE Vanpool driver,
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 44 lbs. and perform basic physical movements,
  • Basic computer competencies,
