Sealing Technologies, a Parsons Company, provides Cyber Security services and cutting-edge technologies to the Federal Government. SealingTech is looking for a Principal systems engineer who likes to work each day with the end customer and ensure mission success. You’ll be responsible for managing all technical aspects of a $100M contract supporting a real-world mission with global impact. The ideal candidate will have an extensive background across a wide range of technology in hands on roles, experience managing teams, experience with government contracting (preferably with the DOD). This is an amazing opportunity to engineer solutions for unique challenges, and you get to do it (mostly) in an unclassified space (yes you can have your phone).
Minimum Requirements:

• 15 years of hands-on experience in 4 or more of the following areas things:
  • Software development
  • Networking
  • Virtualization
  • Computer Forensics
  • Systems Engineering
  • Penetration Testing
• Administrator level knowledge of Linux (Red Hat is preferred) using the command line.
• Proven experience managing teams of at least 5, preferably geographically dispersed.
• Proven experience managing technical solutions to government (preferably DOD) of a value of at least $25M.
• Proven experience collecting requirements from the customer and producing a working solution.
• Proven experience working in a fast-paced, frequently changing environment (if you need to start the day knowing how your day will end, this is not the position for you).
• Ability to research new technical concepts and quickly generate ideas on how its use could improve mission.
• Organized and able to manage competing priorities. Attention to detail is a must.
• The ability to work directly with a highly technical customer and provide great customer service.
• The ability to successfully work with people with a variety of skill levels and backgrounds.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to travel within the United States < 25% of the time.
• Must be willing to work on site a minimum of three days a week.
• Must have an active drivers license and clean driving record
• The ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
• An active TOP SECRET/SCI clearance.
• Current CI Polygraph or ability and willingness to pass one.
• US Citizen
• Bachelors degree in a technology related field.

**This role has an internal job title of a Principle Systems Engineer**. The anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition to the anticipated salary, one will have the opportunity to qualify for bonuses.
