Pricing Specialist

We are seeking a flexible, dynamic, and motivated Pricing Specialist to join our team in Elizabeth, NJ. In this position you will play a critical role in analyzing market trends, evaluating costs, and developing pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness and profitability of our products.

Your Essential Duties & Responsibilities

· Conduct market research to develop competitive yet sustainable pricing guidelines.

· Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to develop pricing strategies for our trucking services.

· Facilitate pricing negotiations with various vendors to ensure cost efficiency.

· Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to obtain information needed to respond to RFPs and customer requests.

· Coordinate RFP activities and communication, such as conference calls, meeting recaps, project plans, item assignments and follow-through to ensure final response package is appropriately formatted and submitted to customer on time.

· Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and understand operational needs related to pricing management.

· Maintain and update pricing records, including rate sheets and pricing databases.

· Coordinate with other departments, such as Sales, Operations, Finance, and IT, to ensure accurate pricing information and system functionality.

· Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and best practices related to pricing.

· Perform any additional related duties as required by management.

Experience

• 3 years of experience in pricing analysis, business analysis, or a related field, preferably in logistics industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing environment and business climate.
• Proficient in Microsoft - Word, Excel, and Power Point.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required.
• Fluency in oral and written English.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
