SEACORP is Hiring a Subcontracts Administrator II/III Near Middletown, RI

We are searching for a junior-level Subcontracts Administrator II/III at our Middletown, RI location.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Job Summary : The Subcontracts Administrator will provide subcontract administration support under the direction of the Contracts & Purchasing Officer with day to day task leadership provided by the Subcontracts Administrator.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities will include:
  • Perform subcontract negotiation and subcontract administration on new and existing subcontracts.
  • Perform day to day subcontract administration in support of assigned subcontracts.
  • Administer full life cycle subcontract management, including but not limited to proposal support, negotiations of non-disclosure agreements and teaming agreements, preparation of solicitations packages to subcontractors, evaluation of subcontractor proposals, price analysis, negotiations of terms and conditions, award of subcontracts, subcontract administration, issue resolution and closeout activities.
  • Maintaining subcontract proposal and contract documents in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Ensuring compliance with FAR and Prime Contract provisions, company policies and procedures, and subcontract provisions across the program.
  • Reviews solicitations and prime contract awards to effectively flow down required documents and clauses.
  • Prior experience participating in a CPSR, and understanding of compliance requirements.
  • Successfully manage difficult customer scenarios by identifying problems and/or deviations and provide suggested solutions while satisfying SEACORP policies and contractual regulations.
  • Negotiating nondisclosure agreements, proprietary information exchange agreements, blanket agreements, and service agreements.
  • Review and process subcontractor invoices to ensure compliance with the contractual requirements; must have the ability to highly scrutinize, identify and clearly document in writing invoicing issues for manager’s review and reporting.
  • Perform data entry using various databases and perform any other duties or tasks as assigned.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:Sitting, standing, extended periods of time using a mouse and keyboard and looking at computer screens. Infrequent lifting of <40lbs. Movement between points within the same office or between buildings. Work is performed in generally consistent environmental conditions with some seasonality for temperature differences and lighting.
Eligibility Requirements:Education: A High School diploma with applicable experience with DoD contracts, billing, and related administrative duties is required;
Experience: 1 of relevant experience is required. Familiarity with Deltek Costpoint preferred.
