Overview

• Manages, plans, and coordinates activities of projects and the personnel assigned to ensure that goals or objectives of the customer are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters.
• Reviews project plan(s) to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing projects, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of projects.
• Establishes work plan and multi-disciplinary staffing for each phase of project and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel.
• Serve as the Site Safety Officer and ensures all personnel are compliant with safety requirements of their assigned workstation.

Typical Functions

• Confers with daily to outline responsibilities, and scope of authority.
• Directs and coordinates with Amentum project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule.
• Manages schedules and/or plans as required to meet the requirements of the project.
• Prepares project reports for Amentum management.
• Confers with Amentum project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems.
• Completes customer satisfaction surveys and works with Amentum to ensure the highest quality of service.
• Ensures all personnel are accurately recording their time.
• Holds the personnel to the highest quality standards.

Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, Certifications, and Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or Engineering or other relevant discipline or demonstrated equivalent and 5 years relevant experience applicable in field of operations & maintenance, logistics, or maintenance.
• OSHA Safety Certification desired.
• Machine shop experience is desired.
• Good oral and written communication skills: working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications; organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required.
• Position requires the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.
• Position may require travel.
