We are currently hiring store clerks for our Fish Markets in Pawcatuck and Mystic Connecticut.

We offer an upbeat and friendly environment. Our team is energetic and outgoing. The day goes by quickly as there is always something to do. Our products are interesting and change with the seasons. (It’s a lot like a deli job, except with fish)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Be friendly, helpful, and polite while assisting customers.
• Prepare, package, weigh, portion/cut, and accurately price products.
• Monitor product quality and freshness and ensure proper rotation.
• Stock product displays, fish cases, and shellfish bar.
• Keep the store front clean, organized and stocked.
• Maintain clean and sanitary workstations.
• Run and balance a cash register.
• Be available to work on weekends and some holidays.

Qualifications:

• Experience in customer service, food, or other related fields is helpful, but not required.
• 1 Year cashier experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work as a team with others.
• An outgoing and polite personality.
• Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
• Ability to bend, twist, reach, push, pull and regularly lift 25lbs.
