Behavioral Health Clinical Supervisor - Posting #25378

Salary: $75,000 per year

Position Summary:

Sea Mar Child and Family Behavioral Health Clinic is seeing a dedicated and experienced Clinical Supervisor to join our growing Silverlake team. As Clinical Supervisor, you will play a vital role in supporting the Program Manager to supervise and support the well-being of our clinical staff, ensuring the provision of high-quality care to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide guidance to staff including therapists, case managers, interns, and support staff.
• Plan, schedule and direct the day-to-day work of clinical staff ensuring efficient and effective service delivery
• Train new employees and provide ongoing professional development opportunities to provide clinical skills
• Assist program manager with hiring, performance appraisal, rewarding and disciplining employees
• Address complaints, resolve problems and promote a positive supportive work environment
• Establish and maintain programs that prioritize staff wellness, self-care, and mental health support
• Ensure compliance with agency policies, procedures, and contractual obligations
• Carry a small caseload of clients to provide direct care and clinical expertise
• Collaborate with other supervisors and team members to ensure coordinated care and optimal client outcomes
• Participate in quality improvement activities and contribute to program development initiatives
• Perform other duties as needed to support Sea Mar’s mission and objectives.

Qualifications and requirements:

• Must hold a Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in counseling, social work, psychology or related field.
• Must meet WA state clinical supervisor requirement and hold a current LICSW, LMHC, LMFT or another related licensure required. Ability to provide licensure supervision to associate level clinicians preferred
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
• Proven experience working with children and families preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to establish rapport with clients, staff and peers
• Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
• Sound decision-making and problem-solving abilities
