Responsibilities:

• Order Processing:
• Receive and process take-out and delivery orders accurately and efficiently.
• Confirm order details, including special requests, and provide estimated pickup or delivery times.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders.
• Customer Service:
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting with order customization.
• Communicate order status and estimated delivery or pickup times to customers.
• Resolve any issues or concerns related to To-Go orders with professionalism and courtesy.
• Packaging and Presentation:
• Ensure accurate and complete packaging of orders for delivery or take-out.
• Pay attention to presentation and quality control to uphold Applebee's standards.
• Organize orders for efficient pickup or delivery by customers or third-party services.
• Payment Handling:
• Process payment transactions accurately, handling cash and electronic transactions.
• Provide receipts and change promptly and professionally.
• Address any billing inquiries or discrepancies with courtesy and efficiency.
• Cleanliness and Organization:
• Maintain a clean and organized To-Go area, including packaging materials and utensils.
• Assist in routine cleaning tasks to ensure a hygienic work environment.
• Monitor and restock To-Go supplies as needed.
• Team Collaboration:
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and serving team to fulfill To-Go orders.
• Collaborate with other To-Go Specialists to ensure smooth operation during peak hours.
• Support a positive and team-oriented work environment.

Qualifications:

1. Previous experience in a customer service or To-Go Specialist role is preferred but not required.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
4. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
5. Basic math skills for order processing and handling payments.
6. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
