Job Overview:

We are looking for friendly and energetic individuals to join our team as Casual Dining Servers. The ideal candidates will provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive and enjoyable dining experience for our guests. This role requires a proactive and team-oriented approach to deliver prompt and efficient service in a casual dining environment.

Responsibilities:

• Customer Service:
• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Take and accurately relay food and beverage orders to the kitchen.
• Provide attentive and personalized service to meet the needs of guests.
• Table Maintenance:
• Set and clear tables efficiently, ensuring a clean and organized dining area.
• Refill water glasses, and offer additional beverages as needed.
• Monitor and address guest needs throughout their dining experience.
• Menu Knowledge:
• Have a good understanding of the menu, including daily specials.
• Make recommendations based on guest preferences and dietary restrictions.
• Stay informed about ingredients and preparation methods to answer guest inquiries.
• Order Processing:
• Enter orders accurately into the POS system.
• Communicate special requests or modifications to the kitchen staff.
• Ensure timely and coordinated delivery of food and beverages to the tables.
• Team Collaboration:
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar staff to maintain a smooth flow of service.
• Communicate effectively with team members to fulfill guest requests.
• Assist colleagues during peak times to ensure a high level of service.
• Payment Handling:
• Process guest payments accurately, handling cash and electronic transactions.
• Provide change and receipts promptly and professionally.
• Address any billing inquiries or discrepancies with courtesy and efficiency.

Qualifications:

1. Previous experience as a server in a casual dining setting is preferred but not required.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
4. Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
5. Basic math skills for order processing and handling payments.
6. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
