SDM Co. is Hiring an E-Commerce Site Merchandiser Near New York, NY

DescriptionHello Bello is looking for a strategic E-Commerce Site Merchandiser who will play an essential role in advancing online merchandising initiatives and e-Commerce strategies to maximize sales on hellobello.com and Hylands.com (most likely70/30 split). This person will be accountable for delivering an outstanding online shopping experience by ensuring customers easily find and buy the desired products through the development of data-driven merchandising strategies, with a focus on maximizing conversion.
Essential Duties And Responsibility
  • Manage and review merchandise presentation for hellobello.com to ensure the categorization, imagery, copy, pricing, site placement and promotional tags are accurate and meet brand standards.
  • Coordinate with Creative and Tech teams to execute product launches.
  • Analyze data daily to optimize the customer experience and make suggestions/take action to improve conversion rate.
  • Monitor and conduct site audits for accuracy of product listings.
  • Track status of projects, communicating with relevant cross-functional teams, and providing quality assurance of retail partners.
  • Manage site sorting rules, search term optimization, and other commerce platform-related features that help drive conversion rate and provide a best in class e-commerce
RequirementsQualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education And/or Experience
  • Two plus years of proven experience in e-commerce merchandising, preferably in a retail or consumer goods industry.
  • Proficiency in e-commerce platforms and content management systems i.e. Shopify and Headless CMS.
  • CPG and eCommerce experience required.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
  • Exceptional qualitative and quantitative analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
