Looking for your next challenge? We have a great one in Chicago, IL! This Site Manager opportunity will have direct responsibility for delivering a wide range of SDI services at a specific client location (Chicago O'Hare International Airport). You’ll be responsible for the overall client relationship and will oversee the storeroom and storeroom employees.

Your responsibilities will include purchasing, accurate receiving, inventory control, personnel productivity, and facilities management. You will achieve specific performance metrics and build a Best In Class (BIC) storeroom operation.

  • Ensure customer services levels meet required goals, as per SDI’s contract
  • Check and maintain inventory accuracy
  • Follow and ensure all SDI, and our client safety protocols are met
  • Deliver site profitability to predetermined, contracted goals
  • Provide weekly forecasts

The salary for this role will not exceed $85,000.00 per. However, this role is bonus eligible.

The skills you’ll contribute to our diverse team:

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Proven ability to develop trusting client relationships
  • Past leadership of hourly and/or clerical workers, in a service industry (preferably serving industrial, manufacturing or commercial markets)
  • Hands-on manager willing to roll-up sleeves to perform duties to get the job done
  • Demonstrated understanding of storeroom activities and material management (issuing, receiving, stocking of items, purchasing, inventory control, etc.)
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP systems
  • Able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly over 8 hours as needed
  • Able and willing to work in an industrial/warehouse environment; may be exposed to heat, noise, and dirt

Compensation for roles at SDI, Inc. varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific client, office or remote location, role, skill set and level of experience.
