SDAC is Hiring a Purchasing Agent Near Montgomery, AL
- Manage the procurement of all construction materials and supplies, including developing and executing procurement strategies, identifying and evaluating potential suppliers, negotiating contracts, maintain open communications with project managers.
- Review and analyze supplier performance, product quality, and pricing to optimize purchasing decisions.
- Execute purchase orders, including order placement, delivery tracking, and invoice reconciliation.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and pricing.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor market conditions and make recommendations for sourcing, cost savings, and process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline procurement processes and improve efficiency.
- Assist the Controller with a other tasks as needed.
- 3-5 years of experience relevant experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
