We are a Hormone Health Clinic looking for a friendly, cheerful, well-organized, highly motivated certified medical assistant (MA) and/or Phlebotomist for the following: Interact with clinic patients, make appointments, perform phlebotomy services including lab draws and blood donation, administer injections, competently handle, draw up and administer medications/injections, perform thorough/complete patient education, prompt detailed computer charting and collect payments. It is imperative that the MA/Phlebotomist holds the highest HIPPA standards, uses aseptic technique and is comfortable discussing male and female treatment questions. Job requires 5 days per week, no weekends, evenings or nights.
Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care and treatment
- Perform basic medical procedures such as taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and administering medications
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist during procedures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Provide patient education and instructions on medication, diet, and lifestyle changes
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure efficient and effective patient care
Qualifications:
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program and/or Phlebotomy training
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and multitask effectively
- Excellent communication skills and ability to provide compassionate care to patients
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
