Position Overview :

Scully & Scully, the luxury home furnishings and gift store, established in 1934, is seeking a client driven Registry and Tabletop Associate to join the Registry team at our store on Park Avenue.

The Registry and Tabletop Associate is responsible for providing professional and personalized consulting services for couples by demonstrating advanced product knowledge in the areas of china, crystal, flatware, entertaining essentials, tabletop, and home décor, in addition to knowledge of products available throughout the store.

The associate will work with the client to create quality Registries that ensure client satisfaction and drive sales. In addition, the associate will be responsible for fulfillment of registry’s and performing other duties, as necessary.

You will become well versed and educated in merchandise store wide, through scheduled vendor training sessions, offering your expertise to couples, gift givers and regular clientele.

Essential Functions :

• Meeting with couples, usually by appointment, to determine personal Registry needs.
• Delivering an exceptional customer experience while Registering Couples or collaborating with a client on placing an order.
• Implementing on-line Registry’s; working with the IT department as needed.
• Becoming a product knowledge expert, understanding features and benefits of products especially in the China, Crystal, Tabletop, Entertainment and Home Accessories areas.
• Entering orders and ensuring all products, pricing and shipping information is correct.
• Following through with customer service issues.
• Ensuring seamless delivery of all orders placed by working collaboratively with the buying and shipping departments.

Qualifications :

Education / Experience :

• Education : Bachelor's degree in Business, Fine Arts, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years experience in luxury goods
• Exceptional customer Service and organizational skills required. Meticulous.
• Experience using Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word.
• Proficient with the use of POS applications and ERP applications such as NetSuite.
• Initiative-taker, able to work independently and as part of a team and must have suitable time management and administrative skills.
