Anderson Regional Water is searching for a Water Treatment Plant Operator. Selected candidate will be assigned one of three positions based on experience: WTP Trainee–WTP C ($20.00-$25.00), WTP B ($22.33-$33.56) or WTP A ($27.09-$37.44). Operator will perform skilled work in the operation, monitoring, controlling, testing, and troubleshooting of a water treatment process. Position is contingent to drug screening and satisfactory driving record. Candidates already possessing a level B or A license must demonstrate the ability to operate the water treatment plant during their six (6) month probationary period.
SPECIAL CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES

• Must obtain a Class “D” Water Treatment License issued by the State of South Carolina within one (1) year of employment date of hire and “C” Water Treatment License within two (2) years of employment date of hire.
• Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license.
• Preference may be given to applicants holding a Water Distribution License and or years of experience in the field.
