The Town of Kingstree has a full-time Wastewater Plant Maintenance Operator position vacancy. The successful candidate will perform routine maintenance and operate wastewater machinery and equipment throughout the wastewater plant and at area lift stations. Maintaining the grounds at the wastewater facilities is also a requirement. A minimum of a "D" biological wastewater license is desired. If the successful candidate does not have a "D" biological wastewater license, they will be required to obtain a South Carolina biological wastewater "D" license by the end of their twelfth month of employment. A valid South Carolina Driver's license and a high school diploma or a GED are required. The regular hours for this position are 7:00 am until 3:30 pm Monday through Friday. Being flexible and available for evening work, weekends, holidays, etc., is required. The selected candidate may have to work in extreme weather conditions occasionally. This job will remain open until it is filled.
