Job Description

An Account Executive is responsible for maintaining the relationship and managing the services of their assigned client accounts. This will include fielding routine to complex requests related to our clients' benefit plans, implementing new plans, recommending plan changes that are aligned with industry trends, analyzing complex problems, and assisting with driving solutions. Additionally, you will be required to maintain a high level of quality in client service through accuracy, responsiveness, reliability, and professionalism during every interaction in an extremely fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

· Preparing account service-related documents such as meeting agendas, proposals, PBM requests, and other client communications, and correspondence

· Maintenance of Plan Documentation and current contracts

· Preparing Plan Reviews using our proprietary software

· Give active coordination, communication, and guidance to our account coordinators

· Monitoring and Reporting PBM Performance using our proprietary software

· Providing recommendations on benefit design based on industry trends and clinical knowledge

· Coordination of plan changes with the PBM

· Resolution or appropriate escalation of PBM client service issues in conjunction with operations (claims, service, and systems)

· Management of client contract renewals

· Market Check Analysis reporting

· Participate and document discussions during client meetings and conference calls.

· Prepare meeting recaps itemizing all discussion points, action items, and next steps.

· Serve as a resource for clients. Attending to the needs of the client and continually seeking ways to add value to the client-company relationship

· Supporting clients in person, over the phone, and through email

· Ensure client financial goals are met, cost of care and administrative expenses are managed, and segment profit targets are achieved for assigned accounts

· Request and Validate PBM performance guarantees. Coordinate reimbursement to client if needed

· Encourage team engagement and development by sharing best practices and mentoring/engaging other employees where applicable

· Maintain a client audit schedule in coordination with our audit team to ensure a proactive approach in supporting PBM administrative compliance

Qualifications

  • 3 years of Account Management or Client Facing positions
  • 3 years of Prescription Benefit Management (PBM) industry experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage complex relationships
  • Excellent organization
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills
  • Ability to interact with executive stakeholders
  • Project Management Skills
  • Willingness to contribute to the team- participation in team building activities, leading team recognition for “wins”, and ability to help create a positive setting
  • Experienced problem solver with ability to analyze, interpret, and resolve
  • Experience working with various software products (CRMs, Reporting Platforms, etc.)
  • Good mathematical skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office. Especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

· Rx Performance Reviews.PBM A Reports are provided on a regular basis with detailed compliance with contract pricing as well as Plan performance. Our clients find the reports to provide insight into the financials aspects as well as actionable recommendations to better guide their benefit administration.
