MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK MONDAY - FRIDAY FROM 11:30am - 5:30pm

Scribbles & Giggles Child Care Learning Center is looking to expand their team with people that want to impact tiny humans today in order to better tomorrow. We are currently hiring for a co-teacher who will serve as a positive role model with a passion to create the foundation children need to succeed later on in life. We strive to make a difference and help others by creating a healthy, safe, and fun environment for children to be able to develop their individuality while parent/guardian(s) pursue their goals. We are licensed for children between the ages of 2 weeks to 12 years old and have the capacity to care for over 150 families annually from 7am to 5:30pm on any weekday. We are located off Saginaw St. and down the road from Sexton High School, in between downtown and the Lansing Mall.

MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK MONDAY - FRIDAY FROM 11:30pm - 5:30pm

Employee Objectives (Goals to commit to for providing care):

  • Commit to the development of a high quality program. Be supportive of the learning environments, curriculum, daily routines, and supplies.
  • Support the team within the classroom as well as the team as a whole center. Collaborate with teachers and the Center Director to reinforce the growth of each child.
  • Cultivate childhood development. Foster environments that will allow children to experience a variety of developmentally appropriate practices and thrive in a play based learning atmosphere
  • Observations are continuous to make sure that every child is being supervised and safe.
  • Comply with licensing standards in all activities.
  • Maintain focus on cleanliness through proper cleaning and sanitation procedures for all materials and learning environments.

Qualifications

  • MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK MONDAY - FRIDAY FROM 11:30am-5:30pm
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Have a High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Have an up to date TB Test
  • Complete a fingerprint background check
  • Strong communication skills
  • Be physically capable to bend, sit, stand, etc. repetitively

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
