RolesandResponsibilities

• Assume the role of first contact for Refrigeration/HVAC building automation service calls
• Assist technicians on-site with troubleshooting control systems
• Analyze after-hours (evening and weekend) alarm calls on the next working/business day
• Perform monthly controls checks for assigned customers; document as needed
• Maintain knowledge of controls contracts and provisions
• Team with service manager on controls training for technicians
• Assist customers on controls-related issues
• Assist after-hours dispatchers on training and support
• Maintain ownership of training all branches on use of iPads and mobile forms
• Work with service manager in updating service forms
• Establish remote communication for all accessible controls systems; document site information
• Train additional staff as needed

Additional Responsibilities

• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
• Assist parts team with questions/support as needed
• Create work orders and maintain communication with dispatchers
• Follow up on product loss/issue calls and breakdown system failures

Minimum Requirements

• Ability to assume an on-call rotation with controls department
• High School education or equivalent
• Computer skills with a working knowledge of network systems
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience in HVAC/R systems
• Technical troubleshooting skills
• Experience in building automation systems
