Seeking a *Hospitalist Medical Director *for a hospitalist program at SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital in Jefferson City.
*$30,000 commencement bonus* on top of listed salary/stipend, *plus *a *$30,000 retention bonus *for a 2-year commitment.
* 167 hospital beds
* Daily census: 42-45
* 7 on/7 off block schedule for full-time
* Two physicians rounding daily (7a-7p)
* In-house Nocturnist (7p-7a); and will cover ICU
* Two NP/PA shifts per day
* Closed ICU–ICU covered by Intensivist
* No procedures required, however intubation / central line procedures encouraged
* Must run codes with EM back up at night; ICU back up during day shift
* EMR: Epic
