- Coordinate and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities of equipment, machinery, and facilities.
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems related to the maintenance of equipment and machinery.
- Manage the inventory of spare parts and materials necessary for maintenance.
- Coordinate with external suppliers and contractors for specialized services.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations in maintenance operations.
- Technical knowledge in mechanics, electricity, electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, etc.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in similar activities in the Metal Recycling or Shredder industries.
- Ability to maximize the availability and efficiency of equipment and machinery.
- Proficiency in minimizing downtime due to technical problems or equipment failures.
- Capacity to ensure maintenance of a safe work environment and comply with environmental regulations (OSHA).
- Strong leadership skills to lead and motivate a team of technicians and maintenance personnel.
- Ability to effectively manage resources and maintenance budgets.
- Knowledge of safety standards and environmental regulations (OSHA).
