Service Advisor
Duties:
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and addressing their needs
- Communicate with customers to understand their vehicle concerns and accurately document them
- Recommend necessary repairs and services based on vehicle inspections and customer input
- Provide estimates for repairs and services, explaining the costs and timeframes involved
- Schedule appointments for vehicle repairs and services
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicles and any changes to the repair plan
- Handle cash transactions, including collecting payments for services rendered
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, repairs, and services provided
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an automotive service advisor role preferred
- Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using computer systems for scheduling, invoicing, and record keeping
- Cash handling experience is a plus
