Description:
Scottsdale Music Academy is hiring for Guitar, Voice, and Piano music instructors position for private lessons. Formal education not mandatory. Multi instrumentalist a huge plus. Music instructor minimum requirement of 2-5 years of private lesson teaching experience. As a Scottsdale Music Academy music instructor must be able to teach all ages and versed in all popular styles of music.
- Ability to interact effectively with children and adults
- Experience working with youth and or/beginning musicians
- Must demonstrate an understanding of music concepts, have strong aural skills, and practical techniques as it relates to the instrument. Must be able to communicate those concepts effectively to students
- Effective time management and organizational skills to keep students on task in a lesson
- Comfortable working with a variety of personalities
- Planning to remain in the area long-term
- Ability to pass a background check
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
Teaching Private Music Lessons: 2 years (Required)
