National Museums Scotland is one of the leading museum groups in Europe and it looks after collections of national and international importance covering: natural sciences; decorative arts, craft, design and fashion from across the world; science and technology; and Scottish history and archaeology. The public can explore these through displays and exhibitions, online, national and international engagement programmes, and programmes and resources for schools. National Museums Scotland also provides loans, partnerships, research and training, in Scotland and internationally.

Millions of local and international visitors enjoy National Museum Scotland’s four museums each year: the National Museum of Scotland; the National War Museum; the National Museum of Flight; and the National Museum of Rural Life.
