Equipment Operator / Laborer

Individual needed to perform a variety of semi-skilled trades work and operate heavy machinery including trucks, tractors, front-end loaders, etc.

• Duties include painting, carpentry, concrete work; clearing ditches, catch basins, culverts, storm sewers, and other drainage structures;
• loading and unloading stone, gravel, dirt, asphalt, limbs, trash, and heavy mechanical equipment; mowing greenways, parks and cleaning grounds;

clearing debris and trees after storms; operating and using chainsaws, trimers, and hand tools; and operating snowplows.

Individual selected will also plant, water, and assist in the care of shrubs, trees, grass, etc.

Position requires graduation from high school or possession of a GED and some related work experience. Physical agility to perform the essential functions of the position is also required.

Preference will be given to applicants with previous experience performing semi-skilled maintenance, construction, or trades work.
