Essential Duties and Responsibilities

As Security, a typical day might include the following:

• As guests are arriving in our venues you are greeting them are able to provide them with fast, friendly service
• Accurately checking guest identification
• Ensuring all dress code procedures are being enforced
• Ensuring guests are wearing masks and enforcing social distancing guidelines
• Monitoring guest consumption of alcohol and intervening when needed according to all necessary guidelines
• Promoting Big Night Entertainment Group Restaurants and Venues in a positive and professional manner
• Handle situations quickly, efficiently, and safely
• Diffusing difficult situations
• Ensuring safety of both guests and staff throughout the entire venue
• Other duties to be assigned based on venues requirements

Skills/Qualifications

This job might be for you if you demonstrate the following abilities and meet the following qualifications:

• You have at least 1 year previous security experience in a full food and beverage restaurant or high volume, upscale and/or club environment
• You present a neat and professional appearance
• You are able to communicate effectively and accurately with customers, the public and co-workers
• You are able to demonstrate teamwork with other staff members
• You have flexibility with schedule which includes nights, weekends and holidays
• You are able to work on your feet for extended periods of time
• You are able to lift up to 75 lbs
• You are able to de-escalate issues
