About us
Scorched Earth Brewing Co. is a small business in Algonquin, IL. Our goal is to have an elevated taproom experience through live music, food trucks, trivia, and special events while serving our delicious and locally made beer.
Beertender needed at medal winning 12,000SF brewery and taproom in Algonquin IL. Primarily weekend work, usually a Saturday shift with opportunities for Thursday, Friday, or Sunday as well, averaging 2 evenings per week. $8.40 plus tips to start.
Key skills needed:
- Knowledge and passion for craft beer
- Basset certification required
- Fast paced envioronment
- Take and enter orders into POS system (Square)
- Must enjoy working with a team and enjoy interacting with customers
- Maintain a clean bar area, clean/restock glassware as needed, extensive opening and closing cleaning tasks
- Ability to change kegs
- Could potentially also work festivals
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $8.40 per hour
Expected hours: 6 – 16 per week
