The Store Manager is responsible for all staffing, sales, and operations in a Scooter's Coffee location. This role builds and leads a friendly, service-oriented barista team, sets a high-energy work pace, drives sales, increases profit, and demonstrates an engaged management style. Responsibilities include:

• Building and leading a friendly, service-oriented barista team

• Creating a high-energy workplace

• Driving sales and increasing profits by building community relationships/partnerships and providing outstanding product and service.

• Ensuring consistent and quality customer experience through proper staffing, execution of brand beverage recipes and techniques, and fostering Scooter’s “Amazing” customer service!

• Interview, hire, train, and constantly develop staff to meet all company standards in customer experience and operations

• Provide continuous performance feedback to aid in the development of team members by providing clear, constructive feedback to reinforce and improve performance

• Maintain a culture of accountability within the team – partner with Field Brand Consultant and , when necessary, Human Resources to make termination decisions

• Determine daily and weekly staffing requirements based on business need and create work schedules accordingly

• Maintain company standards in personal and store sales/performance metrics

• Encourage full team participation in setting store goals and developing action plans to achieve those goals

• Ensure all cash handling, point of sale, safety, and operational procedures are consistently performed to company standards

• Maintain accountability for store operations

• Provide leadership by generating excitement, enthusiasm, a positive mental attitude and commitment toward company objectives.

• Maintain an attitude of flexibility that allows performance above and beyond the parameters of this position description.
