Job Summary
Reporting to the President, this critical role is responsible for driving the strategy and team's execution across all supply chain and operations initiatives, processes, and business delivery. This role has ownership of the Distribution Center operations, Inventory Planning and Order Management teams, Transportation & Logistics, and Manufacturing teams. This role requires excellent leadership skills to enable and develop teams to achieve best-practice work across all functions and departments. This role thrives in a cross-functional, matrix organization and is seen as a trusted SME in Supply Chain and Operations. To be successful in this role, comfort in a complex, high SKU environment with a strong seasonal business is needed.
Core Job Duties
•Manage the function's budget, deliver cost savings and evolve function's KPIs to create holistic view of business success and results. •Create and lead execution of Supply Chain & Operations strategy while implementing best in class practices and processes, focusing on S&OP.
•Lead transformational change and build functional capability with strong focus on engagement and building collaborative, service-oriented teams.
•Demonstrate leadership excellence for change management, communications, coaching and development, and apply to all levels of management.
•Build and evolve operational capabilities, practices and processes (safety, quality, productivity) in warehouse/manufacturing teams to enable and support future organizational growth.
•Establish and maintain a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence throughout the function and organization.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
•Highly effective and professional verbal and written communication skills with team, internal customers and suppliers that includes a strong focus on teamwork and internal/external customer satisfaction
•Display an ability to collaborate, build trust and adapt to changing business demands •Working knowledge of SAP and WMS/LMS implementation and platforms
•Demonstrated experiences challenging the status quo, change management, and teaching and motivating individuals to develop and implement new ways of thinking including process improvements is required
•Proven knowledge in building or transforming successful operations. organizations and leading large-scale change management initiatives that influence culture, define tools & processes and improve competencies is required
•Highly skilled project management and collaborative alignment capabilities. Ability to draw insights from data and develop collaborative solutions to business challenges.
•Experience with an international organization is highly preferred, but not required
Education and Experience
•Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, business, operations management or related field is required.
•15 years of total supply chain experience is required; progressively increasing responsibility.
•5 years' experience in the CPG industry is preferred.
•5 years' progressive operational leadership experience in a manufacturing and/or warehouse environment, with a track record of delivering results and driving continuous improvement.
