The Substance Use Specialist will provide mental health and Substance Use services including diagnostic assessment, individual and group counseling, and CPST/case management. Counsels clients individually and in group sessions in a Residential Facility to assist client in achieving treatment goals. Develops and implements therapeutic treatment plans and routinely discusses progress toward goals with clients.
Minimum Requirements: Associate's degree or Bachelor degree preferred with appropriate scope of practice and five years experience required. Experience in utilization management of at least 7 years preferred. Experience in Substance Abuse required. Masters degree and /or Prevention Certified preferred. LCDCIII, LSW or LPC required; LICDC, LISW-S, or LPCC-S preferred. Maintains licensure/certification and posts areas of competence and services. Must have valid Ohio driver’s license.
