Hours: 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Position Summary:Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, provides physical therapy services to patients needing to develop, recover and maintain physical mobility/function.
Primary Duties:To perform this job, an individual must perform each essential function satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation.

- Implements treatment plan developed by supervising therapist using appropriate modalities. Seeks consultation as necessary.
- Monitors patient’s responses to the treatment plan. Regularly communicates patient progress and possible goal revisions to the physical therapist.
- Documents services provided and patient response/progress.
- Educates the patient and family/caregiver about patient deficits.
- Assists with patient discharge planning. Provides information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and community support programs.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Current State license as a Physical Therapy Assistant required
- BLS on first day or to be assigned by the Learning Center
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
