Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities Researches, prepares, writes, and may review articles for internal and/ or external communications, which may include general announcements, presentations, newsletters, advertisements, operational changes, press releases, content for internal/external websites, and/or communications to customers. Ensures communications are appropriate, accurate, and grammatically correct. Confirms and/or reviews artwork, logos, layout, and visual brand. Participates in distributing materials via multiple media, ensuring compliance with procedures, company policy, and corporate identity. Participates in identifying and documenting customer objectives, audience, standards, timing, budget, and distribution methods. Participates in educating customers about communication review process and procedures. May plan and organize activities and events for customers or employees relating to trade shows, special promotions, rollouts, product launches, and/or public/community relations. Collaborates with management and other functional areas (Marketing, Sales, Underwriting, Product, etc.) to understand desired outcomes and to participate in recommending creative approaches to ensure objectives are met. Participates in preparing estimates and budget; ensures events costs remain within the approved budget. Participates in developing and executing communication strategies and timelines for moderately complex communication initiatives. Shares responsibility for meeting objectives. Participates in maintaining company archives/libraries for photographs, logos, graphics, communications, newsletters, press releases, and other communication materials. Participates in routing and securing appropriate approval. May participate in responding to routine inquiries, requests, concerns, and/or complaints. Refers non-routine inquires to more experienced staff. Develops working knowledge of regulatory guidelines and agencies pertaining to communications, advertising, and marketing materials. Performs other duties as assigned. The person hired for this position will work out of the Lakeland, FL office which offers a hybrid work environment of 3 days in the office and 2 days work from home. #LI-Hybrid Job Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Field of Study: Business, Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism or a related discipline. Experience: Generally, 3 to 5 years of related experience.
