JOB TITLE/DEPARTMENT: Barista / Mojo Coyote Cafe / Cabinet Mountain Coffee POSITION TYPE: Seasonal- Part Time or Full Time WAGE RANGE: $12 hour (plus tips) SUPERVISORY: No SUPERVISED BY: Coffee Shop Manager POSITION SUMMARY: Guest service in espresso drinks and food sales. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Employees must be available to work ALL WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS (Christmas Break, MLK, Presidents)
Employees will be responsible for opening and/or closing the shop.
Complete prep work and prepare drink/food items.
Must be able and willing to always provide exceptional guest service.
Must be able to use cash machine (Squirrel), balance cash, and complete appropriate paperwork at end of shift.
Will be responsible to always maintain cleanliness of shop and to remain professional and courteous in both appearance and manner throughout sift.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Combined walking and standing for up to 8 hours per shift.
Lift 25 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
Will use hands for grasping and fine manipulation.
Exposure to boiling water and steam frequently.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
Must have or be willing to obtain extensive knowledge of Schweitzer Mountain Resort facilities, events, and activities.
Excellent customer service skills required.
Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure the shop is a safe and clean environment.
Developing and maintaining knowledge of coffee and educating guests and colleagues about these coffees.
Follow recipes and presentations for food and beverage items.
Contributing to a positive work environment.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS: SKILLS:
Excellent customer service skills required.
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
EDUCATION: English reading, writing and communication; basic math EXPERIENCE: Barista or Food Service experience helpful, but not required LICENSE NEEDED: None MACHINES/TOOLS OPERATED: Espresso machine, blender, knives, coffee grinder, and speed oven.
