Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Parts Counterman to join our team. As a Parts Counterman, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting with parts inquiries, and maintaining accurate inventory records. This position requires excellent organizational skills and a strong knowledge of automotive parts and services. Starting salary is $60,000.00 plus commission. Some saturdays will be required.

Duties:
- Assist customers in identifying and locating the correct parts for their vehicles
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Maintain accurate inventory records, including receiving, stocking, and organizing parts
- Process parts orders and ensure timely delivery to customers
- Collaborate with the service department to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs
- Utilize computer systems, including Excel, to track inventory and generate reports
- Maintain a clean and organized parts department

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an GM automotive dealership is preferred
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and services
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers
- Dealer Track DMS knowledge a plus
- Proficiency in using computer systems, including Excel, for inventory management
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of phone etiquette and professional communication skills
