JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Understand the process of managing budgets and financial plans and controlling expenditure
• Gain knowledge in hotel operations departments under the direction of the General Manager
• Assist Accounting Controller with daily deposits, accounts payable, accounts receivable
• Ensures overall guest satisfaction to drive brand metrics
• Ensures compliance with brand standards
• Maintaining statistical and financial records
• Learn the dynamics of planning work schedules for individuals and teams
• Meeting and greeting customers
• Dealing with customer complaints and comments
• Addressing problems and troubleshooting
• Carrying out inspections of property and services
• Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations
• Perform various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives
• Perform various tasks through hotel technology stack.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Entry level hotel or hospitality experience preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management or Business preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Excellent attention to detail
• Financial savvy
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
