We are looking for an excellent teacher for our Emotional Support classroom. On average, there are 6 students and 3 full time aides to support in the classroom. Our current teacher is retiring, and we are looking for a warm and demanding teacher to join our team and support our students.

Essential Functions

• Provide emotional support and guidance to students in grades 3-5 who exhibit behavioral, emotional, or social challenges.
• Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans to address students' specific needs and promote positive behavior.
• Conduct assessments to identify students' strengths and needs and monitor their progress over time.
• Deliver social-emotional learning (SEL) curriculum and lessons to enhance students' self-awareness, self-regulation, and interpersonal skills.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to discuss students' progress, share strategies for supporting their child's emotional well-being, and address any concerns or questions.
