School District of Onalaska is accepting applications for 8-hour school nutrition supervisor position at Northern Hills Elementary. The hours are 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Position is school year only, no nights or weekends. Summer hours are a possibility.

This position is responsible for maintaining a high-quality child nutrition program in an atmosphere of efficiency, cleanliness and warmth. Duties include, but not limited to:

• Monitor food production and service to assure that planned menus are used and that emergency substitutions comply with meal pattern requirements.
• Ensure that recipes and portions are prepared and served as planned to meet quality control and standards.
• Monitor production and service to assure compliance with sanitation regulations.
• Follow daily schedules to assure that personnel and equipment are used effectively.
• Ensure that proper procedures are followed by all employees.

Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma or GED required2. Prior experience in quantity cooking preferred3. Communication skills - both verbal and written4. Organizational skills5. Knowledge of basic mathematics6. Ability to deal with stressful situations7. Ability to cooperate with co-workers8. Ability to accept change with a positive attitude9. Capable of lifting 42-50 pounds unassisted
