Description

The School District of La Crosse is accepting applications for a 1.0 FTE Title I Reading Teacher at Hamilton/SOTA I Elementary School beginning in the 2024-2025 school year. Projected start date: August 27, 2024
Wisconsin certification 1316 and/or 5017 is required.
Prefer applicants possessing the following qualifications:

• Ability to collaborate with professionals at all levels, K-12, special education, and ELL.
• Ability to work with sensitivity in a multicultural setting.
• Excellence in using developmentally appropriate practices.
• Conversant with current strategies for emergent readers and thematic curriculum.
• Knowledge of current educational literature and approaches to teaching/learning.
• Adaptable to changing educational settings.
• Ability to develop successful parent involvement activities.
