School District of Hatboro-Horsham is Hiring a PIMS and Business Applications Analyst Near Horsham, PA

Position Goal:

Perform cross-department data analysis and reporting to satisfy all PIMS and federal data submission requirements, including submission of State reports and corrections as required. This position will help develop, maintain, modify, and program the district's business software systems and assist in implementing database policies, procedures, and interoperability. This position will also work to ensure data integrity and provide support to district employees.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Work with schools and departments across the district to accurately compile, submit and revise reports to satisfy PIMS and federal regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with Yearly, quarterly, monthly, daily processing and reporting needs in all areas.
  • To implement, troubleshoot, maintain, and provide technical support for the district business and financial data systems.
  • Manage users, roles and groups in the financial system to grant access to employees and share data across departments while maintaining best security practices.
  • Administer PDE access requests by approving requests and adding or removing users as requested.
  • Responsible for creating data extracts from the Financial and Student Systems as needed.
  • Participate in migration and data integration of new or upgraded data management system software.
  • Assist in identifying data stewards and regularly coordinate meetings with guidance on specific data best practices and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain data analysis and reporting tools to help data stewards review and assess data for accuracy, compliance and historical trending as needed.
  • Participate in professional growth opportunities by attending and/or presenting at national, state, and local meetings and other relevant technology-related events.
  • Conduct in-service courses and training workshops, as needed.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with central office administrators, building principals, and others, as appropriate.
Educational Level:

2 or 4 year college degree in related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience with PIMS, data analysis and reporting.

  • Act 151 - Child Abuse History Clearance
  • Act 114 - Federal Criminal History Record
