The School District of Beloit is accepting applications for a School Security officer (SSO) for Aldrich Intermediate School. The District School Security Officer will provide support to the instructional process with specific responsibilities for ensuring the safety, security, and welfare of all students, staff, and visitors while on school grounds. This position assists the administrative staff with carrying out policies and procedures that ensure safe and orderly schools at the building level. The SSO also works closely with the assigned School Resources Officers (SRO). Prefer candidates with law enforcement, security officer or military experience. Candidates must be dependable, punctual, and enjoy working with children. This is a full time/permanent position. Minority and bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
