    SHS Restorative Practices (RP) Coordinator
    Position Overview: This is a great opportunity to anyone currently or staringout in the feild of Restorative work. THis new position give you the opportunity and freedom to assust the High School Principal in develpe, create and build a Restorative Justice/Practice program. You would be expected to lead the work at Srevens High School and train, work and meet with teachers, counselors, administrators, and support staff at SHS. SHS is looking for a canidate that will be open to build the R.J program throight the for the distrcit level with all elementary school, and the middle school.
    Reports to: School Principal
    Compensation: Salaried; 37.5 hours per week during the school year
    Key Job Functions:
    • Develops strategy and plan for implementation of restorative justice practices at SHS
    • Provides training in Restorative justice/practices to students, teachers, administrators, support staff, and parents/guardians.
    • Provides direct support for Restorative justice/practices to students, teachers, administrators, support staff, and parents/guardians
    • Arranges for and coordinates the use of outside resources, as required.
    • Develops monitoring criteria to measure the effectiveness of restorative justice/practices being used as a basis to develop and implement enhancements
    • Maintains an awareness of other restorative justice practices efforts in other schools throughout the United States and facilitates the sharing of experiences.
    • Performs administration tasks including:
      • Reports status monthly, and as required,
      • Defines financial requirements, as part of the annual budgeting process
      • Oversees outside resources being used
      • Coordinates all work with District Diversity Coordinator, District Equity Committee, and the Social Justice Team to ensure inclusiveness in all practices. Participates in the design, development, and implementation of study groups addressing social justice issues.
