    The Summer Program Co-Directors shall create, facilitate, support and sustain efforts that lead to improved learning throughout the Claremont School District through the effective implementation of summer programs.
    Responsibilities: The Summer Program Co-Directors are responsible for the planning, daily operation, supervision of teachers, and evaluation of the summer programming in the Claremont School District. In consultation with the Assistant Superintendent the Summer Program Coordinator, shall be responsible for planning and administering the affairs of the summer programs, subject to statutory requirements, the regulation of the New Hampshire Department of Education, and the policies of the school board.
    Reports to: Assistant Superintendent
    Primary Duties:
    • Develop, organize, and implement operational structures related to enrollment, staffing, scheduling arrival/departure of students attending summer programs.
    • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, make recommendations for future program offerings.
    • Observe and implement necessary precautions to ensure the safety of program participants.
    • Coordinate with Facilities Director to ensure a clean and safe environment.
    • Monitor student attendance and maintain accurate records.
    • Coordinate with Assistant Superintendent to design, implement, and analyze student assessments.
    • Develop and maintain a fiscally responsible budget, collect and ensure accuracy of timesheets, order supplies and distribute materials.
    • Set high expectations for student achievement and conduct.
    • Provide training and facilitate implementation of instructional best practices, including technology.
    • Collect, analyze, synthesize, and report data about student achievement, attitudes, interests, and concerns.
    • Communicate effectively with students, staff, parents, and community members.
    • Implement school district policies.
    • Respond to stakeholders concerns, and requests, facilitate meetings, communicate decisions to appropriate parties and monitor progress of decisions.
    • Fulfill all other tasks as requested by the Assistant Superintendent.
    Certification: Teaching Degree, Administration perferred, New Hampshire certification.
