We develop complete concepts that range from transportation and warehousing to pre-assemblies and value-added services, to sequential production of individual parts and modules, and packaging suitable for containers. Furthermore, we produce individual car body parts and car body modules for vehicle manufacturing under the KWD Automotive umbrella brand.

About the Role

Responsible for overseeing and managing the safety and quality assurance programs within an organization. The primary focus of this role is to ensure that the company's operations adhere to safety standards and quality guidelines to minimize risks and maintain high standards of product or service delivery.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and guidelines in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Collaborate with various departments to establish and promote a safety culture throughout the organization.
  • Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure products or services meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Establish and monitor quality control processes, including inspections, testing, and documentation.
  • Investigate and address quality issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
  • Conduct safety and quality training programs for employees to enhance awareness and understanding of safety and quality standards.
  • Provide ongoing education to staff on industry best practices and emerging trends in safety and quality management.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Collaborate with other departments to assess the impact of operational decisions on safety and quality.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety and quality processes.
  • Analyze data and feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement changes accordingly.
  • Stay informed about changes in safety and quality regulations and ensure the organization's compliance with relevant standards.
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans to address potential safety incidents and ensure the well-being of employees and the organization.

Expertise & Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science or related field preferred
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations and policies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in technology and equipment used in environmental inspections.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • ISO 9001 audit certification approved
