Schedule: Full-time; Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Job overview:
Schneider is seeking an Operations Representative in Savannah to act as a liaison between carriers, operations and customer service. The Operations Representative will execute daily operational processes that ensure high-quality service is delivered and the needs of customers are met.
Responsibilities:
- Establish, develop and maintain positive working relationships with carriers.
- Match available capacity to customer delivery needs.
- Use planning processes and decision-making tools to develop optimal plans.
- Monitor equipment usage.
- Resolve problems related to freight imbalances, changes in operations and overall market disruptions.
- High School diploma or GED.
- 2-4 years of relevant work experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft systems.
- Strong problem solving and communication skills.
- Outstanding project management skills.
