Job overview: Schneider is seeking a Liability Claims Manager in Green Bay to work closely with the Senior Claims Manager on the implementation of the overall strategic operating plan of INS Insurance Inc. Accountability also includes the leadership and performance management of a team of Liability Adjusters.

Responsibilities:

Lead, coach, and mentor team of associates to consistently gather claims data to ensure accuracy, resolve problems, and act on opportunities to meet driver needs, improve efficiency, drive results, and develop process enhancements.
Set performance expectations and provide on-going feedback to associates to improve individual performance and contributions.
Establish and monitor meaningful performance metrics, for the department and individual associates that drive superior results, including annual operating plans.
Assist with design of an individual development plan tailored to each associate with their career aspirations in mind.

Qualifications:

Skills and qualifications:

Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience. Five plus years of relevant experience.
Minimum four years experience working in the general field of insurance and/or handling auto liability, property damage, bodily injury or freight claims; transportation knowledge preferred.
Prior leadership experience preferred.
Insurance license or other certification (CPCU, AIC) preferred.
Six Sigma and/or Lean certification preferred.
