- Familiarize yourself with wiring diagrams and symbols.
- Carefully review the bill of materials to ensure accurate assembly.
- Understand the appropriate torque values for each individual assembly.
- Adhere to required assembly procedures.
- Install units, including label/nameplates, hinges, and door panels, onto structures with precision. Safely lift and move heavy structures as needed.
- Work with attention to detail when following blueprints and wiring diagrams.
- Utilize hand tools and operate a crane when necessary.
- Keep a clean work area through general housekeeping duties.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure longevity.
- Cross-train and rotate through various stations as required.
- Communicate any material or equipment issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Participate in meetings to resolve production issues and collaborate with other shifts and support groups as necessary.
- Manufacturing and hand tool proficiency
