Schneider Electric is Hiring a Power System Engineer - Study Lead Near Reno, NV
- Power system analysis methods & performance – fault, protection/coordination, arc flash, load flow, motor starting, etc.
- Experience in working closely with clients & customers, to resolve issues and deliver solutions
- Professional Engineering licensing preferred, but on track for licensure required
Services Consulting Power Study Lead Engineer Is Accountable For Customer Satisfaction On New Construction Power System Studies For Aligned Geographies Or Sales Territories
- Local representative for Services Consulting System Studies
- Act as single point of contact for power system studies content – questions about methods, recommendations, and specific reports – customer meetings & site visits as needed
- Develop relationships with Schneider National Sales Force Teams and Consulting Application Engineers to influence study specifications and business
- Develop relationships with Channel Partners
- Perform some power system studies, as needed – fault, coordination, arc flash, load flow, etc.
- Understand local adoption and enforcements of codes and standards, and adapt & influence study execution to balance with System Studies procedures
- Understand local commercial market and use that understanding to influence quotations, and perform ad hoc quotes, as needed
