Schneider Electric is Hiring a BAS Construction Project Manager Near Andover, MA

What will you do?

The BAS Construction Project Manager will be based in the greater Boston, MA area and working a Hybrid schedule in the Andover, MA office and field. The BAS Construction Project Manager plans, directs, and coordinates activities of multiple project teams to ensure that the goals and objectives of the project/s are accomplished on time, implemented at or below the estimated cost, and billed in a timely fashion throughout the duration of the project/s.

Responsibilities include:

  • Technical project manager responsible for full life cycle of BAS/ATC large capital construction projects from initial design phase through commissioning and owner sign off.
  • In-depth HVAC, electrical, and automatic temperature controls knowledge to help guide customers through solutions-based problem solving.
  • Ability to drive technical solutions for building controls systems and address owner/end user concerns as a technical resource.
  • Manages resources by planning, scheduling, and forecasting workforce and resource requirements.
  • Coordinates projects along with contract documents and approved sales estimate
  • Manages all document control for projects, including RFI's, meeting minutes, punch lists, transmittal log, submittal log, change order log, and issues log.
  • Prepares project billing revenue forecasts and schedules of values.
  • Review all estimates and change orders for accuracy and approve all team project submittals.
  • Accountable for the budget management for all the assigned projects including resource planning, manpower planning, tracking of actual costs vs budget and preparing detailed financial reports for each project status
  • Prepares installation subcontractor bidding documents and helps negotiate subcontracts with the Pre-Con Team
  • Obtain, organize, and maintain all project contract documents with Schneider Electric’s quality policy.
  • Prepares and updates project schedules, cost estimates, and budgets.
  • Prepares and delivers final project documentation to the customer and collects payments.
  • Signature level authority as indicated by the Authorization Level Document

What qualifications will make you successful? 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering field
  • 5 years of Building Automation experience and HVAC Controls
  • Experience working on projects onsite with customers.
  • Construction accounting and finance knowledge to manage life cycle of large capital projects
