JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education
Required: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience/Skills
Required:
Commitment to provide excellent experiences for our patients and their families
High degree of emotional intelligence
Strong analytical aptitude
Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows
Preferred:
Previous collection experience in the healthcare industry
Basic understanding of credit and collection regulations
​​​​​​​Experience taking and posting payments and cash drawer balancing

About the position
Medical bills can be confusing and scary for many patients. In this role, you will work with patients to assist them in understanding and paying their medical bills.

This is a patient-facing position that works closely with people from all walks of life. The ideal candidate for this position is energetic, optimistic, and eager to make a difference in our patients’ lives. 

Duties for this position include, but are not limited to:
Having financial conversations with patients (in-person and over the phone)
Taking payments
Setting up payment plans
Running and processing of various reports
Cash drawer balancing

You will work closely with dedicated professionals from within the department as well as care teams and care coordinators throughout Schneck.
